Charity Shops

Our Charity shops make a difference

Our charity shops enable us to be very much in the heart of the community which we serve.

Not only do they help us to do our bit for the environment, passing on those goods that you may not want any more, to someone who is looking for just that item, but it also means that we have points of contact at the heart of the community.

Why not pop in and take a look around your local shop, or if you feel able to, why not volunteer and help man it too?  Click here to view all our shops.

Volunteering in our shops

We're always looking for volunteers to help in our shops; from customer services, steaming, shop front to packaging.  If you would like to get involved please give us a ring on 01392 466666 or email here.  Click here to find out more about volunteering in general.

Gift Aid

Did you know that if you donate your unwanted goods to us, you can gift aid it, as long as your are a UK tax payer and pay equal or more than what the Charity is claiming back?  Find out more here.

We want what you may throw away!

Did you know that some of the items you disregard or leave lying at the back of the drawer could make money for Devon's Air Ambulances?

So what can you donate?

  • Mobile phones - if you would like to donate your phones to us you can either drop them into one of our charity shops, our offices or get in touch and we will send you a special freepost envelope to send direct
  • Used postage stamps
  • Postcards

You can of course drop any of the above donations into your local Devon Air Ambulance Trust charity shop.

Did you know that if you are a coffee lover and buy Tassimo pods that you can recycle them for us?

Supporter Richard Goodger told us about this recycling initiative as so far he has raised over £280.

If you would like to drop off your pods to Richard, or find out if there is a distribution collector near to you, why not click here and find out?

Richard usually parcels up 2,500 pods and that makes a fantastic £50 which he donates to DAAT.  It truly is money for nothing!  Items made from recycling these products vary from plant pots, watering cans, benches to waste bins.

Currently the Tassimo Brigade isn't accepting new distribution/collection points so you would need to arrange for drop off to a designated collection point.
