Make your time count — for you and for your community
You don’t need loads of spare time and you don’t need experience. Only a little willingness to help when you can.
Volunteering with Devon Air Ambulance is flexible, simple to get started, and genuinely makes a difference.
Why get involved?
Of course, as well as making a difference to your community, you gain something too. By volunteering you:
- Build skills that matter for your future employment pathways
- Develop confidence, experience working in a team, enhance communication skills
- Contribute something that’s meaningful by being part of a service that supports people across your county
- Can fit your volunteering time around your life when it suits you, and there’s no requirement for a long-term commitment
- Will feel more connected by meeting new people, trying something new, and feeling a part of something bigger.
What kinds of volunteering could you do?
There’s no single volunteering role, just opportunities that you can choose from. For instance, you might help support fundraising events or get involved behind the scenes using skills you already have but want to apply or develop further.
Volunteering is flexible. Choose to do a little, or offer a bit more – either way it means a lot.
Small actions make a real impact
Every hour you give helps keep Devon’s air ambulances and critical care cars ready to respond. There’s a team of helpers behind every mission and you could be among them, making a difference to our activity in the community.
Are you ready to get started?
It only takes a few minutes to sign up and to become a part of our volunteer community, without pressure and with no fixed commitment.
Just a chance to get involved, your way, because your contribution counts.
