Information for when our shops open again

Our shops reopen on Monday 12 April

Our Risk Assessment

We have worked hard to ensure our premises are Covid-Secure and as part of that process have completed a full risk assessment. The Government has advised that our risk assessment should be made visible to staff, supporters and visitors as this demonstrates that we have properly assessed their risk and taken appropriate measures to meet the required levels of safety and protection as required.

Please read our full risk assessment and view and our Staying COVID-19 Secure compliance statement.

We have made significant changes to the way you can shop with us to ensure our shops are safe and 'Covid Secure'. Here's how we are currently selling a great range of items.

Read about our current donations process

When visiting our shop you can be sure that we have followed all the relevant Government guidance, which means we are now Covid Secure.

Social distancing measures will remain at 2 metres as set out by Government, however due to space limitations in some our stores the number of people able to enter our shops at any one time may vary.

Please be patient and polite to our shop team whilst they try to ensure the safety of you and everyone around you whilst visiting us.

The following changes have been made:

  • A poster at the front of the shop will stipulate how many people may enter at any one time as they may differ shop to shop
  • Our shop floor fixture layouts will have changed
  • Our changing rooms will not be available
  • Our returns policy has been adjusted to offer refunds only for items returned (No credit notes will be issued at this time)
  • We are encouraging card payments to minimise the handling of cash

How to shop with us

  • Our window displays and those areas at the very front of our shops will be the main areas available to purchase from.
  • We will also have a wide range of goods for sale on each shop’s own Facebook page so please make sure you are following them to see all the latest donations available to buy – more will be added on a daily basis.
  • Buy & Collect - Items shown on Facebook can be paid for over the phone by calling the shop concerned or contacting them via fb messenger – you can then arrange a convenient time to collect your item – Alternatively you can pay when you arrive to collect it. We will not be able to deliver.
  • Don’t forget to visit our Devon Air Ambulance Ebay Shop and our online shop www.daat.org where there are many more items and an ever-changing selection of goods so always a great place to browse.

Please be aware that you will still be able to join our lottery and pay for your lottery at each of our shops. We will also be able to receive any cash donations.

If you would like to visit one of our shops to drop off donations, please read about our new donations process.
