The Exmouth shop is moving!
Devon Air Ambulance will open the doors of its newest charity shop in a prime Exmouth location, just in time for Christmas.
The newly-located retail outlet at 5 Parade replaces the shop in Chapel Street, Exmouth, and its larger floor space offers a greater range of quality secondhand clothes, accessories, toys and books, bric-a-brac, and Devon Air Ambulance-branded merchandise.
The new shop, which boasts the new branding and interior design, officially opens at 10am on Saturday 6 December. Cutting the ribbon will be Devon Air Ambulance Founder and Life President Ann Ralli, herself an Exmouth resident and former teacher at Exmouth Community College. Ann will be accompanied by Devon Air Ambulance CEO, Greg Allen, mascot, Jennie, and charity staff and crew.
The old shop at Chapel Street will open again for a short time while the transition takes place.
Choose Exmouth for incredible bargains
We want to give every one of the items donated to us the maximum opportunity to be sold.
The item will first feature for a 6-week period in the first charity shop. If it is not sold during that time it will be placed for a further six-week period in a sister shop. Finally, if the item is not sold there, then it will go to Exmouth where it will be sold for less than our other charity shops. With a dress for £4, a cardigan for £3, shoes for £2 and jewellery for just 50p, you could buy an entire outfit for less than £10!
It’s always worth popping into our Exmouth store to find a bargain in clothing staples and essentials.
Donating to our shop
Even though we sell items in our Exmouth shop for lower prices, donors can still feel confident donating items of greater value to Exmouth as we will ensure such items are given the maximum chance to raise essential funds for your Air Ambulances by first giving them a chance to be sold in one of our other shops first.
As at all our charity shops we are always on the look out for clothing, accessories, books, toys, DVDs and CDs, bric-a-brac and other items.
