Katherine is running the Cardiff Half Marathon on 7th October in memory of her dad who passed away suddenly earlier this year.

I started running to get fit and improve my health in January 2017 only to find out I had a larger adenoma on my liver. At the beginning of January 2018 I underwent major surgery to remove the large tumour along with half my liver and I promised myself that I would get fit again and aim for a half marathon.

With the support of my fab friends, Jenny and Tina, that is exactly what I am training for and I have decided to fundraise in memory of my dad who suddenly passed away this March. The amazing people who worked tirelessly to get him to hospital as quickly as possible included the Devon Air Ambulance.

Thank you to Katherine for your support and your bravery and endurance.
