Get On Board Events and Fundraising Support a fundraiser John Etheridge John was airlifted by Devon Air Ambulance after collapsing and dislocating his shoulder. On admittance to the RD&E tests revealed that John's heart had momentarily stopped, causing him to collapse, and John was fitted with a pacemaker. Having made a full recovery, and now in his 80th year, John is celebrating his birthday and life with an impressive 874 mile cycle from John O'Groats to Land's End. John will be setting off on 1 May 2019. John says "This cycle challenge is my way of saying thank you. To everyone out there, I say Devon Air Ambulance could one day be helping you. So please support me if you can." If you would like to help John reach his fundraising goal you can support his efforts on his fundraising page. Want to get involved yourself?
