Community engagement volunteer

Looking for a rewarding and meaningful way to give back to your community? As a Community Engagement Volunteer, you’ll empower others with the knowledge and confidence to act when every second counts. Whether you have experience in healthcare, teaching, or simply a passion for helping others, we’ll provide all the training and support you need. You’ll join a friendly, supportive network of volunteers who share one common goal – to give people the skills and confidence to save lives. By joining us, you’ll:

You’ll be part of a friendly, passionate team delivering free 90-minute community CPR and defibrillator awareness sessions. These include a short presentation and hands-on practice using training equipment. Your role will involve:

• Setting up and preparing the venue with materials provided by Community Engagement Officer
• Welcoming attendees and creating a warm, inclusive environment
• Helping to deliver high-quality, engaging sessions in your local area, acting as a proud Devon Air Ambulance ambassador
• Occasionally receiving small cash donations and following our simple cash-handling guidance
• Keeping in touch with the Community Engagement Officer for updates, feedback, and support
