The 2025 Devon Air Ambulance Dragon Boat Festival is in a new Exeter Quayside location this year! Here’s what visitors can expect at the event village this race day…
The Devon Air Ambulance Dragon Boat Festival is an annual favourite for teams seeking to secure the position of Devon Air Ambulance Dragon Boat champion!
But with its celebratory atmosphere and a host of bars, eateries and local business to hand, it’s also a popular spectacle for local residents and visitors alike.
This year the Dragon Boat Festival will be held on the opposite side of the quay to where we are normally located, at the Piazza Terracina. The square is surrounded by fantastic cafes and restaurants, the ideal location to assemble with your refreshments to enjoy the Dragon Boat race!
As well as soaking up the carnival atmosphere, visitors can enjoy a host of other festive attractions, including:
- The Devon Air Ambulance stand with the Critical Care Car, and our partners Dragon Boat Events
- Colouring competition with children’s book bundle
- Exeter’s very own Dragon Boat team, Exe-Calibre
- A local face painter
- Exmouth running club stand
- Local bars and eateries
