Scale new heights for Devon Air Ambulance!
The Devon Air Ambulance Daring Descent is back: this time we challenge you to scale Mount Batten Tower in Plymouth!
Take on more towering heights on Plymouth’s seafront and raise money to save lives.
Picture yourself standing at the edge of a cliff overlooking the impressive Mount Batten Peninsula and the vast horizon beyond. With the wind in your hair and courage in your heart, you’ll descend down this cliff face, all in support of the Devon Air Ambulance crew’s life-saving missions.
To participate you must:
- be over 14 years old
- be medically fit
- not be pregnant
- seek medical advice should you have any illness or condition that may inhibit your abseil.
All under 18s must be accompanies by an adult spectator.
If we believe you to suffering the effects of alcohol or drugs, or to be visibly unwell, you will not be permitted to abseil.
Due to restrictions on equipment there is a weight limit of 20 stone. Should you wish to discuss this please contact [email protected].
There is no upper age limit for participation, however abseiling requires physical exertion and strength, You must ensure you are capable of completing the abseil and should you have any concerns we recommend that you consult your doctor prior to signing up.
