The Winter 2025 crossword competition is now closed and the last of our Helipad crosswords.
Goodbye to our crossword and thanks to everyone who participated
We would like to say a big thank you to Ali Simpson for her generous gift of writing the Helipad crossword since the magazine’s inception. In addition to serving as the magazine’s original Editor, Ali continued writing the crossword after standing down as Editor, with her gift providing many hours of entertainment to Helipad readers over the years.
We’re also grateful to the many business partners who have donated prizes over the years and, of course, to the readers who took part.
Our goal with Helipad is to celebrate the work of our crew and the incredible communities that make our work possible, so we’re looking forward to bringing you more insightful, informative and inspiring stories in future issues.
Last edition’s winner
Congratulations to Wendy from South Molton whose winning entry for our Autumn-Winter 2025 crossword means she will receive a family return ticket for two adults and two children from Exeter Cruises for a wonderful day out sightseeing.
Thanks to everyone who entered!
