Why volunteer?
Join Devon Air Ambulance as a Reception desk volunteer and become the welcoming face of our Head Office in Pinhoe, Exeter. Whether you’re looking to gain experience, meet new people, or support a vital local charity, this is your chance to make a real difference – every friendly hello helps us save lives.
What activities?
You’ll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations:
- Give visitors a warm and professional welcome
- Manage sign-ins and share essential safety info
- Answer and direct phone calls, or take messages
- Receive deliveries and keep the right teams informed
- Help with light admin tasks, mainly for Fundraising (but occasionally others too)
- Keep meeting rooms tidy and ready for action
No previous experience needed, just a friendly approach and a willingness to help.
When & what we offer
We’d love for you to join us for regular weekly shifts between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. Half-day shifts (morning or afternoon) are available too. We ask for a minimum of 16 hours per month, but you’re welcome to do more!
