Terms and conditions

The Airbase2Airbase Challenge is a fundraising event run by Devon Air Ambulance (DAA), taking place on Facebook between 03 July 2025 and 30 August 2025. Participants are encouraged to cover a total of 40 miles by any means they choose – walk, run, hop, skip – at their own pace and in their own time.

  • The challenge is open to all ages.
  • Participants take part at their own risk.
  • By taking part, participants agree to be respectful and responsible, and ensure that any activity is undertaken safely and in line with current health and safety guidance.

  • Children under 18 are welcome to take part with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian.
  • To receive a free badge and activity book, parents/guardians must email [email protected] with proof of their child’s participation (e.g., a photo, distance tracker, or written confirmation).
  • Only one badge and book per participating child, while supplies last.

  • Taking part in the challenge is free, but we encourage participants to raise funds to support Devon Air Ambulance.
  • Fundraising is optional but greatly appreciated. All donations go directly towards supporting our life-saving service.

  • Any personal information shared (e.g., via email for children’s rewards) will be used only for the purpose of this challenge and managed in accordance with DAA’s privacy policy, available at www.daat.org/privacy-policy.
  • Participants may choose whether or not to share photos or updates on Facebook. Those who do so are granting DAA permission to interact with or share those posts to help promote the challenge.

  • Devon Air Ambulance reserves the right to amend or cancel the challenge at any time.
  • By taking part in the challenge, you agree to these terms and conditions.

This activity takes place any time over the summer holidays.
