Fundraisers 2025

Community groups and activities play an important role in keeping our service responding. Here are some of the ways local people have helped us.

Across Devon, our community continues to amaze us with their generosity, enthusiasm, and creativity. Every gift, sum raised, step taken, or hour dedicated to making an event happen, helps keep our service responding to patients in time-critical situations. Here are just a few of the events and activities that supporters undertook in 2025 to give our service a boost!

In 2025, the Tamar Valley MG Owners Club demonstrated this community spirit. Their rally took them from Ivybridge to North Devon and back again, all in support of our work. Their passion for classic cars translated into vital funds that will help our crews reach people in urgent need.

Not far away, the Ivybridge Young Farmers Club chose us as their Charity of the Year – a fantastic gesture that culminated in an incredible £4,250 being handed over in November 2025 to our long‑standing volunteer, Tony. Their support shows how young people across rural communities are stepping up to make a real difference.

Meanwhile, the brilliantly named Uffculme Wrinkelys Walking Football Club has offered another year of steadfast fundraising. Each season, this tight‑knit group rallies behind our crews, reminding us how ongoing community support builds long‑term impact.

And in Tavistock, Golf Ladies Captain Maggie selected Devon Air Ambulance as her charity of the year. Through thoughtful fundraising across the season, the team raised more than £4,000, helping to keep our helicopters and critical care cars mission‑ready for the people of Devon.

Your support keeps us responding

These stories illustrate how when local communities choose to do something extraordinary for their local air ambulance, lives are changed, not only for our patients, but for participants too, who enjoy themselves doing something they love doing.

Every event, donation, club partnership, or sponsored challenge fuels our ability to reach patients quickly, provide critical care, and bring comfort in the toughest moments.

If you’ve been inspired by the efforts of our incredible supporters, why not get involved yourself? Whether you’d like to organise a community event, take on a personal challenge, support us through your workplace or club, or volunteer your time, we’d love to help you find the perfect way to make a difference.
