We are delighted to be returning to Tiverton with a new high street charity shop.
Devon Air Ambulance is thrilled to open the doors to our brand-new Tiverton charity shop.
We are delighted to be celebrating the opening our 23rd charity shop to local people and visitors in Tiverton this week (Friday 9 May, 2025). We invite supporters to join us at a special launch event beginning at 10am, where mascot, Ambrose will be in attendance, as well as Critical Care Paramedics if missions allow.
The Tiverton shop, located at 40-42 Fore St , has a fantastic ‘outlet’ space at the rear of the store where you will find items selling at just £5 or less. You can pick up a real bargain across a full range of men’s and women’s wear which will be continuously restocked to help raise vital funds for our service.
The shop will also stock our own coffee brand Crew’s Brew, provided in association with local Devon company Owen’s based in Ivybridge. The shop will stock coffee beans and ground coffee as well as Devonshire Tea which has fast become a firm favourite with supporters and is becoming increasingly popular since its launch in 2023.
Lend a helping hand
The new charity shop not only provides a space for local people to give back to Devon Air Ambulance by shopping for or donating preloved items, it also provides an opportunity for members of the local community to take part in volunteering, and to benefit from a chance to learn more about what happens behind the scenes of a local lifesaving charity.
By donating a little spare time, volunteers can learn new skills, develop confidence and make new friends.
Volunteers are the heart of our service and play a vital role in our fundraising efforts and in helping us to stay connected to the communities we serve.
