E-Commerce Volunteer Support Barnstaple & Exeter 

Alongside our chain of 20 high street shops, Devon Air Ambulance also has an online eBay and shop DAAT, where people can find preloved bargains from the comfort of their own homes. And just like our physical stores our online shops also need the help of a great team of volunteers.  

Volunteers who support our online shops help us to make the most out of the weird and wonderful items that are donated via our high street shops. Some of these items are then sent to our online shops so that they can generate valuable income online to keep our Helicopters flying, and our crew saving lives. Our online shops provide exciting new volunteering opportunities for people looking to use their digital skills to do good. If you would like to join our online shop volunteering team we are looking for people with: 

• a passion for selling online using eBay or other online platforms
• keen photography skills to help make donations look their best 
• creative writing skills to help make listings stand out

No experience is necessary as full training and an induction will be given. 

What activities might you be involved in? 

• researching items to find their true value
• photographing preloved items to make them look their best for selling online
• listing items
• package items safely and send out to their new owner

When can I volunteer?

This is a flexible role to fit with your lifestyle and around other commitments. Whether you can offer one hour or one day, your time and support are hugely valuable. Our e-commerce operating hours vary but most are 9-5 pm Monday to Friday.
