Cara Jones, Volunteer Manager for Devon Air Ambulance, will be bravely chopping off her gorgeous locks to not only raise funds for Devon Air Ambulance, she will then donate her 13" plait to the Little Princess Trust.

Cara says "As Volunteer Manager I see just how much our staff and 600 volunteers put into the service. Without each of their contributions, we wouldn't have the service we have today. So this is my small contribution, but with each small contribution comes great achievements. Every penny counts!"

Cara will be having her hair cut on 18 May 2019 at Clare Winter Hairdressing, where they have kindly offered to do this for free so that the cost of the chop can also be donated to Devon Air Ambulance.

Cara added "You never know when you or a loved one may need us, so please help me to reach my total by donating anything you can to keep our helicopters flying!"

The Little Princess Trust give away real hair wigs free to children that have lost their hair through cancer treatment or other illness.

Cara is aiming to raise £250 of fundraising for us by chopping her locks on the 18 May 2019.

If you would like to help her reach her goal you can support her efforts via her fundraising page
