Our Lottery Canvassers Update on our Lottery canvassers As life is slowly opening up to a new 'norm', after much consideration and thought, DAA has decided to allow our canvassers out and about once more. After we did a phased return with one of our canvassers, Marcia, early in September, and receiving such positive and great support from the public, we are pleased to say that we will now be rolling out the rest of the team. To reassure both our supporters and canvassers, stringent risk assessments, working policies and training have been put in place. We will be notifying our supporters of our canvassers' whereabouts the day before on all our social media channels. Our reception and Lottery teams will also be on-hand to respond to any queries. Meet our Lottery Canvassers Look out for our fantastic and friendly team of canvassers in supermarkets and small outlets across Devon. They’ll be signing up members to our lottery. Our canvassers wear both ID badges and Devon Air Ambulance uniform. They are not permitted to collect cash or take donations. Their operating hours are between 9am-6pm, Monday to Saturday and 10am-4pm pm on Sundays. New members are invited to pay their Lottery membership by Direct Debit, so, for security reasons, all our canvassers use an iPad to collect any data. This information is not shared with any third party. The whole team does amazing work engaging with the public about our Lottery and making an incredible impact by increasing revenue for the Charity. If you have any queries with regards to our canvassers or their whereabouts, please contact our lottery department on 01392 469886 or email [email protected]. Can’t wait to play? Join today!
