Ryan is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Advisor and also holds the CIOT’s Advanced Diploma of International Taxation with a specialisation in Transfer Pricing. Ryan currently works as Director of Tax at Jisc, a charity that provides digital, data, and technology services to the further and higher education sectors.

Ryan trained as an accountant at PKF-Francis Clark in Exeter starting out in corporate audit before moving into corporate taxes. At which point, Ryan specialised in corporate transactions such as management buy-outs, and the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions. After leaving PKF-Francis Clark, Ryan worked for a clean technology company and then joined Jisc.

In his spare time, Ryan enjoys weightlifting, playing water polo and eating fish & chips by the beach.
