I joined the charity in December 2020. I am a Human Resources specialist and my background is in the public sector where I have worked in large Local Government and NHS organisations.

My role as Head of People encompasses a number of different aspects that are people related, including overseeing recruitment, people-related policies and procedures, employee relations issues such as grievances and disciplinaries, payroll, advising on terms and conditions of service and employment legislation, employee wellbeing and learning and development.

As a Head of Department, I work closely with my Head of Department colleagues and the Senior Leadership Team to undertake strategic planning to drive forward business improvement.
