Our education service...

In 2015 10% of the patients we helped were children and we are passionate about engaging with the younger generation of Devon, to educate them about our service and what they should do in an emergency, as well as to inspire them to become our future supporters and fundraisers.

We offer talks to all of the schools in Devon, this is a great way for us to spread the word of the work we do. A member of our fundraising team will come along to present a power point talk, specifically designed for children, to a class or school assembly, these talks are fun as well as informative.

If your school would like to have a talk please email Louise

Work sheets and colouring sheets

In preparation for your school talk, or after, you may like to do some work in class about Devon Air Ambulance. We have produced a number of worksheets and information sheets which support various areas of the curriculum.

All of the material is presented in a way that is relevant to everyday life and linked to the work of the Devon Air Ambulance. Much of the material has been produced at the suggestion of teachers.

Please click here for our full selection of worksheets and colouring sheets that you can download.

Dress as a Hero for National Air Ambulance Week (NAAW)

17-23 September 2017

Every September, as part of NAAW, we encourage schools to hold their own ‘Dress as Hero’ day, where children can dress up for the day as their favourite super hero for a small donation.

NAAW is the opportunity for all of the local Air Ambulance Charities to have a national, united voice, promoting all of the hard work which goes on not only during NAAW but every single day of the year.

If you would like to Dress as a Hero please email Louise
