Competition open and closing dates

The competition runs from Mon 10 January 2022 for two weeks (closing midnight on Sunday 23 January). 5 winners will be selected at random from all entries received on Monday 24 January 2022 and contacted to see whether they would like to take up the offer. 

Prize details

Being drawn as a winner entitles you to a voucher that covers the cost of the £50 skydive deposit. 5 winners will be drawn at random.  

The deposit means your skydive fundraising target is reduced from £395 to £345. Should you prefer to undertake the wingwalk, you can apply your voucher to this fundraising event instead. The voucher can be used only once for just one of these activities.

Winners will be tagged on the social post and contacted by Facebook Messenger with further details on how to redeem their voucher.

When to book your jump

For the £50 deposit voucher to be valid you must book your jump to take place on Saturday 4 June 2022, which is our Jubilee jump day. Please select only this date option when making your booking. You can use your £50 voucher prize by selecting 'Redeem a gift card' when making your booking.

Terms and Conditions

  • The competition opens on Mon 10 January 2022 and will run for two weeks.
  • The competition closes at midnight on Sunday 23 January 2022.
  • 5 winners will be selected at random from all entries received on Monday 24 January 2022 and contacted to see whether they would like to take up the offer. 
  • Entrants must be 16 or over.
  • Skydive Buzz stipulates: to take up the booking the standard upper weight limit is 15 stone / 95 kilos fully clothed. Please call the office if you are between 15 to 18 stone. The minimum age is 16 years and there is no upper age limit. If you are aged between 16 and 18 you must obtain a parent or guardian's consent. If you have any medical conditions you must consult your GP to sign and stamp the British Skydiving medical form.
  • The prize is for a 'voucher' worth £50 which allows the winner to waive this fee (the deposit sum) when signing up for the jump. All the other fundraising stipulations apply as stated on our event page.
  • Should the winner cancel their jump having signed up, they are not entitled to the return of this deposit (the 'voucher').
  • There are 5 x £50 vouchers available. Winners will be selected at random from those who comment on the competitions social media posts before the deadline. Winners will be notified on Monday 24 January 2022 by DAA through Facebook Messenger or on the post.
  • The entry mechanism for this competition is to invite users to comment on the relevant social media post (on Facebook or Instagram).
  • The prize cannot be substituted for a cash alternative or any alternative prize. 
  • The judges' decision is final.
  • There is no obligation for the winner to accept the prize. If they do not accept it within 14 days of having been notified, then DAA reserves the right to offer the prize elsewhere at the charity's discretion.
  • This competition is not part of any partnership with Facebook or Instagram and is entirely independent of the social network.
