Now in its seventh year, the Festival takes place over the weekend of 6th and 7th October and attracts some of the finest food and drink producers in the South West.

Powderham Castle provides a famously magical backdrop, in a uniquely, picturesque setting within an ancient deer park beside the Exe Estuary.

“The Powderham Food Festival is an established event on the Devon foodie calendar, attracting both exhibitors and visitors from far and wide across Devon and further afield, and whatever the weather, it's a great family foodie fun day out,” says Bob Small, Powderham Food Festival Director. “We are delighted to be able to support Devon Air Ambulance, which is such an essential charity and service in our rural county.”

Food fans can expect to enjoy a line up of top chefs such as presenter, chef and sustainable living expert James Strawbridge, who is known for programmes such as The Hungry Chef and is currently writing his eighth cookbook. Visitors can also sample the wares of exhibitors who are sharing food and beverage experiences, from Dartmoor chillies to ‘grown up’ marshmallows.

Those who can’t wait to book their tickets and tuck in are also helping to support Devon’s helicopters.

Caroline Creer, Fundraising and Communications Director at Devon Air Ambulance said, “We would like to thank the Powderham Food Festival for choosing to support us as their 2018 charity.”  Adding, “We are very much looking forward to attending Powderham and meeting everyone visiting and exhibiting.
