Independent UK petrol station, MRH, is supporting air ambulances across the country. The Senior Area Manager for the south west, Jacqui Heath, and her colleagues have embarked on a mega sailing, cycling and walking challenge, which includes all the MRH petrol sites in Cornwall and Devon.

The team set off on the evening of Thursday 19th July at 21.45pm and arrived at Riviera at 4am. Here they docked, and prepared to walk the 3.8 miles to their first site.

The above picture is of the team setting sail on Wednesday evening, hopeful of meeting their target of £1000 while on their journey in support of Devon Air Ambulance.

Since the charity serves all communities across Devon and beyond, it seems appropriate that the fundraiser covers as much terrain as possible.

In their first port of call, some of the early risers made donations to the team before they returned to the boat for the next leg of their journey to Torbay at 6am.

More on this story to follow as we hear!
