Devon Air Ambulance is an award-wining team. We attract, train, and retain the best industry professionals who bring the wealth of knowledge, skills and technical know-how that makes our organisation great.

With excellent people in place, our focus is on how we can enable individuals and teams to excel by fostering a culture of learning and development embedded into our flow of work. Personal and professional development enables us to tackle the work we have today and prepares us for tomorrow. We encourage our people to seek out education, experience, exposure, and different learning environments.

As we explore the future, we are inspired to question the predictable, challenge the status quo and review our impact on the world. We set ambitious goals to grow, develop, modernise, and excel and we believe the contribution and development of our people is at the heart of our success. We believe it is important to make time for learning to occur as we reflect and innovate around new and effective ways to reach our vision and deliver our mission.

Caroline, Facilities Team

I have been impressed by DAA’s ability to develop skill and recognise potential in their staff. I am hugely grateful to the organisation and my line managers for nurtuing me through training and development which has led to being promoted internally from an Administrator to an Officer. My apprenticeship will qualify me as a Facilities Manager and work on this qualification has helped me to realise an exciting career ahead.
