Devon Air Ambulance Trust is an equal opportunities employer.

Why work for Devon Air Ambulance?

At Devon Air Abulance we are motivated by shared values as well as the knowledge that the work we do makes a very real difference to people's lives. There are a number of reasons to join us and we've outlined a few of them here.

  • All our activities are informed by our values, which include community, voluntary service, professionalism, independence and availability to all.
  • Because of our values and our culture, we believe it's important to attract, develop and inspire our staff. We give our team lots of opportunities and responsibility to develop. At Devon Air Ambulance, you'll be working for an established and highly regarded charity with a well-defined vision.
  • Culture and team spirit are part of our working environment. You will be part of a team which takes pride in offering an outstanding, independent and efficient life saving Air Ambulance service to the community who fund us.  DAA have won several awards over the past few years, including PWC's West of England Business of the Year 2015 and Western Morning News' Employer of the Year 2015.
  • Devon Air Ambulance is a Living Wage Employer.  We hold a Bronze Award in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, awarded to employers who wish to pledge their intention to support Defence and take a positive stance towards employing personnel who are or were members of the Armed Forces community.

Here are a couple of the things our current staff members say about their experience of the organisation.

“The DAAT team is incredibly warm, friendly and passionate about their work. I feel very lucky to have been welcomed into the organisation and to be able to lend my skills to such an excellent cause with so many highly motivated and positive people.” - NZP, member of staff, fundraising.

"It’s wonderful working in an environment where everyone within the team is seeking to achieve the same end result – saving patients’ lives." - NH, member of staff, operations.

If you want to see what being part of the Devon Air Ambulance team is like then you may decide to volunteer for us. Our volunteers are incredible people and several staff now in non-voluntary roles have come to them via this route.
