Throughout the pandemic, our shops have exceeded the minimum level of safety recommended by the Government and have achieved an even higher level of protection to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers and our customers.

Over the past few weeks we have been thrilled to see many of our regular customers returning to our shops and it's been wonderful to see friendly and familiar faces popping by just to say hello.

All of our shops have returned to a full browsing format so you can enjoy shopping with us and hunting out that special something that might catch your eye!

Open 'Fully' for business

In response to the most recent lifting of restrictions, we have made some minor changes that will now enable you to shop with us  more freely and donate when convenient to you:

  • Our opening hours have returned to normal and we are now open from 9am - 5pm in all shops except our Plymouth, Armada Way shop which is open from 9:30am-5:30am. In addition, selected shops are also open on Sunday between 10am-4pm.

  • The number of people allowed to enter our shops is no longer restricted although you will see that our social distancing floor markers remain in place to help when considering the space around yourself and others.

  • Hand hygiene and cleaning regimes are still extremely important measures to protect us all and therefore our till screens will remain in place along with hand sanitising stations which we encourage all of our customers to use.

  • To continue to protect you and our team, our staff and volunteers are going to continue to wear their face coverings (unless exempt). Although no longer mandatory, we would encourage our customers continue to wear theirs when visiting.

  • We will continue to offer a 14 day refund policy for items returned to us with a valid receipt.

Your kind donations

Our shops are experiencing some fantastic busy days as people return to shop with us, however, this leaves us desperately in need of your kind donations! If you have been meaning to have a sort out of that Summer wardrobe, now would be an ideal time as we are very short of Summer clothing and accessories for our men's, women's and children's areas.

We've heard some great reasons for donating your pre-loved items, some blaming the 'covid-stone' it appears lots of us felt we may have over-indulged slightly during the lockdown periods whilst our exercise regimes were thwarted and some of those once perfectly fitting outfits are now a tad too tight!

Whatever the reason, we really would be very grateful to receive your unwanted items and a full list of what we can and cannot accept.

The most recent change to our donations process is that you no longer have to book them in with us - please arrive at your convenience and our shop teams will be happy to accept your items. If you have a particularly large amount of items for us, it's always helpful to hear from you beforehand so that we can make sure we have the space available to accept your items when you arrive.

Care for everyone we serve

As a health charity that considers the safety of our staff, our volunteers and our supporters of paramount importance, we plan to continue to operate as safely as we possibly can and we are committed to securing the future of our shops and keeping our staff, volunteers and supporters safe.

Thank you for your continued support, whatever part you play in our charity, whether supporter, staff or volunteer, your dedication to your local air ambulance is appreciated by us all and most importantly, those we are able to help when they need us most.

You can keep up to date with all of our retail news by visiting our shops information pages which are updated regularly.
