Celebrating Mother's Day with Devon Air Ambulance

This Sunday 26th March, we want to celebrate the tremendous strength and resilience of all the hard-working mothers out there. At Devon Air Ambulance, we often witness this first-hand, whether it’s caring for a loved one who has suffered an accident or finding extra time (in an already busy schedule!) to volunteer.

We want to share an inspiring story of one mother – and her friends and family – who have gone the extra mile to turn a traumatic accident into an opportunity to raise lifesaving funds to help support Devon Air Ambulance. It’s not always easy to return to a...

The company has pledged to donate £1 for every Safety, Health, Environment or Quality (SHEQ) event (otherwise known as ‘near misses’) reported by employees. SWH recognises the link between the number of SHEQ events reported and a reduction in health and safety incidents and issues monthly updates to employees and reminders to continue to report events throughout the year.

At Devon Air Ambulance, we’re looking forward to celebrating the achievements of the women across our team, all the way from hard-working volunteers to the senior leadership team!

However, in the lead up to International Women’s Day, we’d like to honour one woman who is of special importance to the charity: the founder of Devon Air Ambulance, Ann Rali. Without Ann’s tireless work to raise funds for an air ambulance in Devon, we might not be operating the...
