News Read our blog Our Volunteers: You Made It Happen This week (November 19th, 2018) the country thanked its volunteers under the hashtag #YouMadeItHappen by celebrating the work of the thousands of people who lend their time and skills to supporting their chosen charity. Devon Air Ambulance is a charity that is very much by and for the people of Devon and as such, over 550 local volunteers donate their support to keep the county's air ambulances flying. Without our box collectors, events supporters, charity shop volunteers, office staff, driver's mates - and many more roles besides, it would be a lot more difficult for pilots and paramedics to do their work. We are always looking for more people to join us and contribute whatever time or skills they feel they would like to, to assist the people of Devon when they most need help, and when every minute counts. There are lots of reasons why volunteering is a fun and enriching activity. If you are interested, then find out more about the volunteer roles available, or contact us about volunteering with us.
