We want to tell you about a very generous and giving little girl who is setting off on a 10k cycle ride later today. Molly Ralls asked her mum about raising some money after seeing fundraising stories on TV in particular the brilliant efforts of Captain Tom and was quite determined she could do something to help too.

Molly explains, “My name is Molly and I am 7 years old. I thought what Captain Tom did was really amazing and decided I wanted to raise some money too. The charity I have chosen is Devon Air Ambulance. Each day I am going to do a 2K bike ride with my Dad who is called Bill. It is part of my daily exercise. I am hoping to raise lots of money for Devon Air Ambulance so they can carry on helping people and using all their special equipment, that’s why I am doing it!”

We spoke to Molly’s mum Ellie who told us “It was completely her own idea to fundraise, after she heard about Captain Tom’s efforts, and the idea to ride her bike each day was her idea too! Her thought for helping others particularly at such a challenging time for the whole country, makes us so proud of her”.

Inspirational Molly will set off on her first 2k today and will complete her challenge next Tuesday 28 April which happens to be National Superhero Day - we think Molly's a superhero for sure!

If you can help Molly to reach her fundraising goal for Devon Air Ambulance we would be super pleased and we know Molly will be absolutely excited! Good Luck Molly and stay safe on your cycle ride!
