Over fifty cyclists ride the Turf n Surf Cycle series in support of Devon Air Ambulance

£475 was raised for Devon Air Ambulance when over fifty cyclists from across England and Wales gathered over the weekend of 23rd – 24th April 2016 to ride the Turf n Surf Cylce series.

The event, now in its fifth successful year, consists of three cycle routes spanning the Devon hills and Cornish coastline, covering distances of 100k, 300k and 400k. Colyton Vintage Tractor Run to raise vital funds for Devon Air Ambulance

Colyton Vintage Tractor Run returns this May Bank Holiday weekend raising vital funds for Devon Air Ambulance and Devon Freewheelers.

A wide variety of vintage tractors will be on display at the Colyton Peace Memorial Playing Fields on Monday 30th May and visitors are invited to attend from 9am. Crowds will gather to line the streets to watch the procession of 120 vintage tractors as they set off at 10:30am to journey along the Jurassic Coast, passing through Seaton town centre before arriving at their final destination of Branscombe at approximately 2pm.

Clovelly to be bombed in beautiful yarn in support of Devon Air Ambulance

The crafters of Clovelly are busy preparing the village for this July’s Yarn Bomb and all funds raised will be donated to Devon Air Ambulance.

Following the success of last years Clovelly Yarn Bomb, which raised funds for the RNLI, the event organisers, the Clovelly Community Gardening Group, decided to host another Yarn Bomb for 2016 and chose Devon Air Ambulance as the beneficiary.

The theme for this years Yarn Bomb is Summer by the Sea, which was suggested by 6-year-old Jacob of Clovelly, and crafters have been busy producing a whole array of crochet, knitting and weaving to fit the theme...

Bridgerule's 10th Anniversary Open Gardens will raise funds for Devon Air Ambulance

Horticulturist writer and broadcaster for Gardeners World and Gardeners Question Time, Anne Swithinbank, will open the 10th anniversary of Open Gardens at Bridgerule this June, with proceeds from the day to be equally split between Devon Air Ambulance and Cornwall Air Ambulance Trusts.

Anne will open the gardens, along with her husband John, on Sunday 19th June at the Bridge Mill at 11am, before touring the gardens to meet the gardeners and talk with the visitors. Ten gardens will be open to the public from 11am to 5pm, with an entry fee of just £4 for all ten gardens.

Devon Air Ambulance are extremely proud to have six supporters participating in this years London Marathon on Sunday 24th April, raising vital funds to keep Devon’s two air ambulances flying.

The London Marathon, now in its 35th year, is a major event in the sporting calendar and one of the most prolific fundraising events in the world, with more than three quarters of participants now fundraising to support their chosen charity.

Owlacombe Farm, near Winkleigh, once again open their beautiful 4 acre garden to the public on Sunday 15th May 2016, giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy the wonder of nature’s beauty in this tranquil setting in support of Devon Air Ambulance.

The gorgeous garden boasts over 400 bright and blooming rhododendrons and azaleas, luscious lawns, fruitful flowerbeds, shrubs, ponds and even a bluebell wood.
