This month Marks and Spencer Simply Food at Derriford Hospital celebrate their first year of business during which time they have raised over £700 for Devon Air Ambulance.

Devon Air Ambulance was chosen as their Charity of the Year at time of opening and as such have had collection boxes present in the shop to encourage donations from staff and customers.

Devon Air Ambulance are extremely proud to have six supporters participating in this years London Marathon on Sunday 24th April, raising vital funds to keep Devon’s two air ambulances flying.

The London Marathon, now in its 35th year, is a major event in the sporting calendar and one of the most prolific fundraising events in the world, with more than three quarters of participants now fundraising to support their chosen charity.

Enjoy a cream tea at Owlacombe Farmâ??s open garden this spring

Owlacombe Farm, near Winkleigh, once again open their beautiful 4 acre garden to the public on Sunday 15th May 2016, giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy the wonder of nature’s beauty in this tranquil setting in support of Devon Air Ambulance.

The gorgeous garden boasts over 400 bright and blooming rhododendrons and azaleas, luscious lawns, fruitful flowerbeds, shrubs, ponds and even a bluebell wood. The garden is also home to a variety of birds including woodpeckers, blue tits, chaffinch, wagtails, nut hatch and robins and if you’re really lucky you may even spot a kingfisher fly up to the woods from the ponds,...
