The Lord Mayor of Exeter to attend the Budleigh Salterton Male Voice Choir Concert at Exeter Cathedral

The Lord Mayor of Exeter, Lesley Robson, will be in attendance at the Budleigh Salterton Male Voice Choir’s (BSMVC) Concert on Saturday 5th August at Exeter Cathedral.

The gala Concert, which is being held in support of Devon Air Ambulance (DAA) in celebration of their 25th year of service, is sure to be a sensational event. Tickets are on sale at Exeter Cathedral box office at £15 for front nave and £12 for side and rear nave, with concession discounts at £10 and £8 for students, £6 and £5 for children.

Maize Maze now open at Darts Farm!

Each year, thanks to the artistic skills of the farm team at Darts Farm, an amazing Maize Maze is designed and created within their fields in Topsham and this year is no different! In celebration of the Devon Air Ambulance’s 25th Anniversary, a ‘propelling’ design has been cut into the field of maize and is now open to the public to enjoy.

Devon Air Ambulance's free afternoon of live entertainment at the Den, Teignmouth

Devon Air Ambulance’s annual Motorcycle Ride Out is returning to the Den, Teignmouth, on Sunday 9th July 2017 with an afternoon of live entertainment from 1pm. This event is free for all to attend in support of Devon Air Ambulance (DAA).

DAA have a great line up of local bands including Littermouth, Five Finger Discount, Thick as Thieves and The Rock Section, with tech provided by Big Bear Recordings.

Budleigh Salterton Male Voice Choir (BSMVC) will support Devon Air Ambulance (DAA) in celebration of their 25th year of service with a gala concert at Exeter Cathedral this summer.

The concert, at 7:30pm on Saturday 5th August, will feature BSMVC, directed by Michael Graham, performing a mixture of popular and traditional songs from their wide repertoire, set to entertain a broad audience.

Devon Air Ambulance’s annual Motorcycle Ride Out returns to the Den this July

Devon Air Ambulance (DAA) are excited to announce that this year’s Motorcycle Ride Out, sponsored by Bridge Motorcycles, will return to the Den, Teignmouth on Sunday 9th July 2017.

It is anticipated in the region of 1000 bikes will enter this year’s Ride Out which will start from Trago Mills, Newton Abbot, from where the bikes will set off in small groups from 10:30am. Registration will open at 9am. The bikes will then follow an approximate 80 miles marshalled route through the stunning Devon countryside before arriving at the Den, Teignmouth, from lunch time.

Dartmoor hotel supports Air Ambulance with a Devon food showcase

The famous and historic Two Bridges Hotel in the heart of Dartmoor has pledged its support for Devon Air Ambulance with a charity dinner to be held later this year.

Award-winning Executive Chef Mike Palmer has created an exceptional five course menu showcasing some of the best Devon produce of the season, and the menu will be paired with fine wines from the hotel’s cellars.

Father raises funds for Devon Air Ambulance after son defies the odds with cliff fall

A dad-of-two will be using pedal power to travel the whole length of the country to raise money for Devon Air Ambulance (DAA) after they came to the rescue of his seven-year-old son.

Paul Shehean, 38, from Oldland Common, Bristol, was on holiday last summer in Newton Ferrers, South Devon, when his son, Finley, lost his footing and stumbled over the edge of a cliff face, falling 15 to 20 feet onto jagged rocks below.

The Devonshire Freemasons present Devon Air Ambulance with £4000

On Tuesday 2nd May our Provincial Grand Master the Rt. W. Bro Ian Kingsbury, accompanied by his wife Toni,  visited the offices of Devon Air Ambulance in Exeter. They can be seen here presenting Fundraising Manager Tracy Owen with a certificate representing the donation for £4,000 given by Devonshire Freemasons through the Masonic Charitable Foundation.

This makes a total of £51,000 presented by Devonshire Freemasons through the Freemasons Grand Charity since 2007 and over £110,000 when adding presentations made by individual lodges throughout Devonshire in the same period.
