Gardens with own railway open to support Devon’s Air Ambulances

Roger and Barbara Stimpson live in Honiton, and despite health problems are once again opening their garden in order to raise funds for Devon Air Ambulance.

However this isn’t just any garden, as they have a very special G:Gauge (which is now digital) in their garden too, which was built by Barbara.  The garden has also been created over the past 10 years and has recently been re-laid.

Jack and Sarahs Easter Canoeing Adventure

Jack is an experienced paddler, having have taken part in the Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race 9 times.  This year however he has taken up the challenge with wife Sarah, who is doing the Race for the first time. They are raising money for Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

Jack, owner of Positive Jack, has worked with the senior leadership team of Devon Air Ambulance Trust, specialising in motivational speaking, business and educational development.

The Devizes to Westminster International Canoe Race is an extreme test of endurance, mental and physical stamina, self-awareness, planning and control.

Gillian and Mike Sexton from Tipton St John, near Sidmouth are Devon Air Ambulance Trust volunteers. They are also organising an event at the Exeter Golf & Country Club on Saturday 7 June in order to raise additional funds, as their way to say a very personal thank you.

Organisers of a highly successful North Devon Beer and Music Festival staged in support of Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT) have announced the dates of its second annual event.

The three day Riverside Beer and Folk Festival will take place from Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th October at Riverside Caravan and Camping Park, South Molton, which will host 21 bands and folk acts including The McDowell Band and Roholio amid the real ales, ciders and other entertainment on offer.

Our Exmouth shop urgently needs extra volunteers.

If you have a passion for fashion, a flair for displaying freshly-steamed clothes, or if you just enjoying meeting people this could be your opportunity to join their friendly team.

Devon charity marathon runners take to the streets of London

Devon Air Ambulance Trust is going to be very well represented at The Virgin London Marathon  on 13th April with 11 runners currently  preparing for the 26.2 mile event.   Some of them gathered at the Charity’s Head Office this week to share training tips and meet the team!
