National Air Ambulance Week

We're gearing up for National Air Ambulance Week and here's our message. We'd like you to join us in our campaign.

It’s really simple, all you need is a mobile phone or video, and say just 8 words to camera “I support my local Air Ambulance, do you?”

Once you have made your film, post it to social media and then nominate some of your friends and family to do the same. As you'll see, we've nominated our Exeter aircrew.

Please donate to Devon Air Ambulance Trust in support of National Air Ambulance Week by texting...

9 Year Old Running for Devon Air Ambulance Trust

Cohen Phillips, 9, is running the Bupa Junior Great South Run in Portsmouth on 25th October in aid of Devon Air Ambulance Trust. Cohen, who is known for his running talent locally in his hometown of Barnstaple, enters this year’s race having already made a name for himself.

In 2013, Cohen won the Mini event at the Great South Run. Since turning 9, he will age up into the Junior event facing competitors who will range from ages 9 to 15. Daunting as it may seem, Cohen is a true champion, looking forward to the race ahead. As the North Devon...

Having a Ball for Devon Air Ambulance Trust

Back in February, Karen Threadgold threw a charity ball raising over £1100 for Devon Air Ambulance Trust. The event celebrated 20 years of Karen running Rosemary Conley classes in Torquay, Paignton, and Newton Abbot but unfortunately coincided with Rosemary Conley Food & Fitness Ltd going into administration.  Undeterred, Karen has since set up her own Threadgold Fitness classes so she can continue to help members, old and new, achieve their fitness and/or weight-loss goals.

The ball was attended by over 100 members and partners, making it a great success. Karen says, “It was a fabulous event. Everyone looked stunning and I...

A June Jog for Charity

Pupils of Culmstock Primary School raised over £400 for Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT) this past June. The children took part in a daily sponsored run around the school field. It is part of the school’s ethos to support local charities, and this year they got the children involved in a healthy way.

By having the pupils do this run every day throughout the month of June, they weren’t just raising funds for DAAT, but also keeping fit. It’s fundraising at the benefit of the children, encouraging them to live a balanced healthy lifestyle.

Culmstock Primary is thankful to everyone who made...
