Tonight BBC One’s popular medical drama ‘Casualty’ will celebrate its 30th anniversary with a special feature length edition.  This programme will show an air ambulance crashing into the emergency department after a drone hits the tail rotor. 

The scenes/storyline are of course produced for dramatic effect. However, Devon Air Ambulance is very aware of the increase in the popularity and use of drones. If you’ve got the baking bug and will be glued to the new series of The Great British Bake Off when it returns to our TV screens this week we have just the event for you!

East Devon Law to donate 50% of fees for Will writing to Devon Air Ambulance Trust

East Devon Law is offering a Will writing service this September for which they will donate 50% of the fees to Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT). Simply book your initial appointment during September and quote ‘DAAT offer’.

Over £2,000 raised for Devon Air Ambulance 12 years after aircraft crash

Former patient and long-standing supporter Alan Gill and his wife Jennifer raised over £2,000 for Devon Air Ambulance (DAA) with an Open Day in the Barn as a joint celebration of Alan’s 75th birthday and Alan and Jennifer’s 5th wedding anniversary.

On Saturday 30th July 2016 Alan and Jennifer opened their barn to friends and family and raised an incredible £1,961.89. The event saw a terrific turn out with over 200 guests, including from as far as Doncaster and Essex. DAA are also awaiting the Gift Aid donation from HMRC which was made on some of the day’s donations...

Devon Revolution 24 hour 300 mile cycle for Devon Air Ambulance

Due to bad weather in August 2016 the team were unable to complete the challenge, they will be reattempting on the 12th August 2017. Fingers crossed for better weather!

Devon Revolution, a team of four, will cycle an impressive 300 miles around the Devon border in 24 hours to raise funds for Devon Air Ambulance (DAA). The team will set off from Seaton sea front at 5pm on Friday 19th August and will cycle continuously throughout the night before returning to their start point at 5pm on Saturday 20th August.
