Devon Air Ambulance’s (DAA) Motorcycle Ride Out returns for its 11th year on Sunday 10th July 2016. This event is one of the great annual events in the bikers' calendar; not only does it bring together the riding community of Devon but it is also a great way for bikers to support DAA.
The Ride Out will start at Trago Mills, Newton Abbot, from where the motorbikes will form a procession and follow a route of approximately 85 miles through the stunning Devon countryside before reaching the end destination of Dawlish Warren where DAA will host an Afternoon of Live Entertainment; complete with refreshments, trade stands and live music.
DAA are extremely excited to announce the line-up of brilliant local musicians and bands who will be performing in support of DAA at Dawlish Warren, including Electric Spank, Five Finger Discount who are returning for their second year, The Summertides and Foxwillow. The afternoon is open to the public and free for all to attend; everyone is invited to come and join in the fun.
Online registration for this event is now open and riders who pre-register will receive a free limited edition Ride Out T-shirt to be collected at the start. Registration on the day of the event will be open from 9am at Trago Mills and the Ride Out will start at 10:30am. The live music will kick off at 1pm with Electric Spank headlining at 4pm.
Fundraising Director Caroline Creer stated “We’re really looking forward to the Ride Out, it’s always a brilliant and successful event. It’s wonderful that we have such great support from the motorbike community of Devon; they truly understand the importance of our service.”
