We are Moving in Exmouth!

We’re moving! Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT) is excited to announce that we are relocating our charity shop in Exmouth to larger premises.  Our new store will be located at 26 Chapel Street in Exmouth and opens on 20th February at 10am.  Our current location will be shutting its doors on 17th February to prepare for the move.

Martin Bell, DAAT’s Retail Director, says, “Our Exmouth branch became a discount shop in July 2013 and proved to be a huge success. We realised the necessity to move our store to a larger location to accommodate this growth and are very much looking forward to forging ahead with the shop fit.”

He adds, “Retail derived income is playing an increasingly significant part of our fundraising efforts and we have invested in developing our expertise, in retail technology and in staff training to ensure we provide a thoroughly professional service. We’ve now appointed a second Assistant Manager to join our existing staff to meet with the demands of this expansion.”

Our new location will provide more opportunities for those looking to get involved with DAAT.

Rosey Oakes, DAAT’s Volunteer Manager, says, “We’re looking to add to our brilliant team of volunteers at our new Exmouth shop. Whether you enjoy sorting or steaming, serving customers or assisting with window design, there is something for everyone who would like to help out. You also get the satisfaction of lending time to a phenomenal Charity!”

If you would like to volunteer at DAAT’s new Exmouth premise, please email Rosey at r.oakes@daat.org. Alternatively, after 8th February, you can call in and meet Shop Manager Sue Redfern or Assistant Shop Managers Judy Prytherch and Simon Hayes who will be at the new location preparing for the opening.

DAAT’s Exmouth shop will retain its existing telephone number (01395 227465) and Facebook page: www.facebook.com/ExmouthDevonAirAmbulanceShop.
