Devon Air Ambulance Trust Motorcycle Ride Out 2014
Building on the tremendous success of last year; Devon Air Ambulance Trust’s annual Motorcycle Ride Out returns on Sunday 13th July. 1,019 Motorcycles took part in 2013, and 2014 promises to uphold the excitement of this popular event.
Starting at Heathcoat Cricket Club in Tiverton, riders will head out on a 76 mile route across Devon’s picturesque countryside. When they arrive at The Den in Teignmouth, motorcyclists will be greeted by a host of post-ride activities. These include trade stands, live music from ‘Wired’ and ‘Thick as Thieves’, and of course a variety of refreshments including a hog roast. A bouncy castle awaits the youngsters who attend the afternoon along the seafront.
A bit of competition is also in store for the afternoon with trophies awarded to the Best Custom Bike, Best Classic Bike and Best in Show. The day is surely to be the perfect summer activity for the motorcyclist community, friends and family.
Caroline Creer, Director of Fundraising at Devon Air Ambulance Trust, says, “The Charity receives a fantastic amount of support from the Biker community, and this event gives us the opportunity to meet some of our greatest supporters. The Ride Out allows us to raise awareness, and also connect with patients. We are looking forward to another great year!”
