Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT) has received a seasonal boost from former Olympic Figure Skating Champion and Head Judge on ITV’s Dancing on Ice, Robin Cousins.
The skating legend is bringing his spectacular new show, ‘ICE’ to Exeter’s Westpoint in February and has arranged for 10% of tickets sales to be donated to the charity where purchasers quote ‘DAAT’ when buying their tickets. The first 250 supporters who book for the opening night will also be invited to attend a VIP gala reception alongside the cast and crew.
The show will feature world class skaters from around the globe in a theatrical extravaganza and will appeal to everyone of any age who enjoys dance, physical movement and the very best ice skating.
Robin Cousins, who visited DAAT’s Middlemoor airbase to meet pilots and paramedics and have his photo taken with Jenny the Helicopter and Ambrose the Bear, commented: “I’m thrilled that we will be supporting Devon Air Ambulance Trust by contributing 10% of each ticket sale made through the charity to DAAT - the work DAAT does is hugely important in Devon so please join us on the opening night for the VIP experience.”
The new winter show will be held at Westpoint, Exeter for 5 nights, starting Wednesday 19th Feb 2014, during February half term.
Tickets start at £22.50 for adults and £12 for children. Please quote DAAT to trigger the 10% donation by ringing 08444 999 955.
