Have you made any resolutions? Devon Air Ambulance Trust’s PR Manager Sarah has. She admits to being “a bit of a hoarder”(and that’s an understatement!) so she’s going to have a clear out and donate all of her unwanted items to their charity shops.
Martin Bell, Retail Director said, “New Year is traditionally the time to make those resolutions which we all, of course, keep for just a few days. Let us help you stick to your resolution – whilst at the same time you could be helping us too! Maybe you want to de clutter your house like Sarah, or maybe you have unwanted Christmas presents? Our charity shops would be delighted to accept your gifts. Did you know that if you are a tax payer, when you donate goods to our shops, we can also claim gift aid back; an additional 25p in the £1 at no extra cost to you.”
Caroline Creer, Fundraising Director of Devon Air Ambulance Trust “It may be that your resolution for 2014 is to get fit, run a marathon or lose a few pounds. Why not consider raising sponsorship for us as part of your goal. This is a great incentive to stick at what you plan to do, as your friends and family will be keeping an eye on you too!”
Devon Air Ambulance Trust has shops in Exeter, Topsham, Newton Abbot, Barnstaple, Plymouth (Mutley), Tiverton, Kingsbridge, Honiton, Budleigh Salterton, Sidmouth and Exmouth.
