Our Christmas 2020 activity has now concluded and we're very grateful to everyone who supported us. If you would like to continue to help keep us attending then we welcome your donations.

Donate today

After the most challenging year operationally and financially, we need your help more than ever before. Please consider supporting us by giving one of these 12 gifts this Christmas and a big Thank You to the kind supporters who have given one or more of them already!

1. Volunteer with us!

Although for most of this year we haven't called upon our amazing volunteers to support our fundraising events and to deliver talks in person, we still welcome volunteers to support us in our shops and to lend us their skills. There are all sorts of ways that volunteers can help us and we'd love to hear from you if you have a little time you'd like to donate to support our life-saving service. Find out more about volunteering.

2. Ask us for a collection box!

In 2019 loose change donated to our collection boxes across the county brought in £190,000! With so many locations closed over 2020 due to the restrictions surrounding Covid-19, we continue to welcome new hosts for our collection boxes. Do you run or work at a business or organisation that could host a box for us? We'd love to hear from you

3. Sign up to our newsletter

One of the best ways to hear about all of our news, patient stories and fundraisers is to read our Helipad magazine online which is issued three times a year, or sign up to receive our regular eNewsletter. By finding out the latest information, you're helping to engage with our service and spread the word, even if it's just sharing our news with your friends.

4. Be a fundraiser!

How we fundraise is changing, but our fundraisers are as enthusiastic and committed as ever! Much of our fundraising activity in 2020 has moved to virtual or remote events, and it's been great to see how the ingenuity and inventiveness of our supporters has helped boost much-needed funds through activities as diverse as personal physical challenges to mask-making! Find out more about how to support us as a fundraiser.

5. Book a virtual talk

In the past year we have had to change how we deliver our talks and now our fantastic and knowledgeable speakers are delivering their talks to schools, businesses and community groups online instead! Contact us to book a talk

6. Get your business on board!

We know that our business supporters are some of our most enthusiastic, organising bake sales, events and activities to raise awareness of our service and funds. 2020 hasn't been easy for many businesses so we doubly appreciate being your organisation's charity of the year and being lent that support. Find out more about being a business supporter.

7. Remember us in your Will

Leaving a legacy will have a positive impact on the lives of others in the future. It is also a fantastic way to celebrate your life and ensure that an essential lifesaving service is available for generations to come. Find out more about leaving a gift in your Will

8. Donate to our shops

How we shop might look quite different, but we still very much welcome your donations. Your pre-loved items can be the perfect purchase for our customers and go a big way towards raising much needed funds for our service. Find out more about donating to our shops when it is safe to do so.

9. Shop with us online too

While our shops are closed, you can shop online safely from the comfort of your own home! Visit our eBay online store which has something for everyone and our brand new Devon Air Ambulance Online shop www.shopdaat.org which has a wonderful array of items just waiting for a new owner.

10. Give a regular gift

You can make a big difference by giving a regular gift straight to us, securely from your bank account by setting up a direct debit. You can donate your desired amount, monthly, quarterly or just once a year if you wish – it’s up to you. Set up your direct debit safely and easily online.

11. Join our lottery

In 2019 our lottery members boosted our income by an incredible £2m! There is a chance every week to win a top prize of £1,350, two prizes of £135 and 10 runners up prizes of £50. If you've yet to join and would like to become a member, find out more today by phoning 01392 469886 or email [email protected]. Our Lottery Team is on-hand to respond to your call!

12. Donate today

A one-off gift is always a very welcome gesture to help keep us attending. As a charity that is 100% independent of external funding, we depend upon you, our kind supporters, to enable us to bring specialist critical care to patients in time-critical situations in Devon and beyond.

And for a stocking filler how about sharing this page with your social networks (links below)! Talking about our work is as helpful as any of the above gifts you can give us!
