Sarah Gauntlett

Legacy Officer

Expand

As Legacy officer I manage all aspects of legacies that have kindly been left to the charity. The role covers many key areas which require a wide-ranging set of skills and experience. A legacy officer wears many hats, administrator, property expert, knowledge of probate law and accountant to name only a few. It is a sensitive and complex role ensuring gifts in wills are managed sensitively and in accordance with all relevant legislation. The legacy officer can ensure the wishes of the donor are respected, and that their gift makes a difference to the charity after they have gone.
