Marketing & Communications Manager
I joined the Charity in August 1997. I first learnt about the service in August 1996 when I had to be airlifted after a bad car accident.I have over all responsibility for the website (fingers crossed you like it) and oversee social media too. I also ensure, with our CEO Heléna that all of our branding is consistent. This includes producing most of our literature (apart from our Helipad magazine) and liaising with press on a regular basis. A varied but extremely enjoyable role!

Cara joined DAA in April 2017 as our Volunteer Manager and is responsible for steering and co-ordinating volunteering across Devon. She works full time, although her duties are spilt between both the Fundraising and Retail departments as she enhances the recruitment, induction, training and support of our wonderful team of 530 volunteers throughout Devon.
You will often find her in Head Office handling all volunteer related queries and supporting staff departmentally as a member of our Office Management Team. If Cara is not in the office she will be out and about assisting our Shop Managers and engaging with our Devon communities at local events. There are many different ways you can volunteer for the Devon Air Ambulance and Cara believes the DAA is very fortunate to have an outstanding and devoted volunteer family.
