The Real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate based on what people need to get by. That hourly sum is £9.30 across the UK and £10.75 in London.

The real Living Wage is a wage that meets the cost of living - not just the Government’s minimum, which is £8.20 for over 25s and £7.70 for under 25s.
