Mark has been a part of the Ambulance service for 20 years now, joining Devon Air Ambulance in 2006 as a paramedic. 15 years later he is still here having seen the growth and change of the Trust over that time and witnessing how the charity has moved from one full-time aircraft to two, the introduction of newer aircraft including the EC135 and now the H145, a new airbase at Eaglescott, the introduction of Doctors and critical care to the service. He is now a Specialist Paramedic in Critical Care and has a supervisory role as the Operations Support Officer. 

Outside of work Mark spends most of his time with family and friends. He keeps himself fit enjoying a bit of running, swimming and cycling and has found a new passion for Stand Up Paddle boarding, which has replaced body boarding he did when 'younger and fitter' - he says.
