The Royal Marines Commando Challenge is owned by and raising funds for Devon Air Ambulance and The Royal Marines Charity, which makes this muddy endurance challenge very unique.  Its the only opportunity a civilian gets to test their courage, determination and cheerfulness on the Royal Marines’ own endurance training course while raising funds for Devon Air Ambulance and The Royal Marines Charity.

About the Royal Marines Commando Challenge

Choose from the 5k Cheerfulness Course, or the 10k Courage course and prepare to get muddy! Take part as an individual or as part of a team. Be sure to find out more about the proper preparation and training before signing up! For training, fitness and general advice check out the event blog.

Royal Marine recruits have to pass what is known as the Four Tests to be awarded their Green Beret. This endurance training course makes up one of the tests, with our 10k being as close to what the recruits have to do - except the recruits also carry a 32 lb pack!
