Lapstock Music at the Mill takes place on the the 27th and 28th July at the Lapford Mill just off the A377.

11 years ago a small group of musicians, living in Lapford, Devon decided to put on a music festival for the village. It was a huge success with massive local support so a group of live music enthusiasts volunteered to do it again, and again as an annual event; and here they are in their 11th year.

The festival is a ‘not for profit’ event with ticket prices kept as low as possible.

Despite getting some big names and over a thousand people, they are still a village music festival with Friday night set aside for up-and-coming local young musicians who rarely get the chance to play to a festival crowd.

Saturday is full-on music across 3 stages with local bands and a few from a little further away. In addition to the music, there are two arenas of colourful traders and workshops, Turkoman style yurts, activities and fun for all the family.

Real ales and ciders are sourced locally as is the food which is expertly prepared and cooked by some excellent local chefs (although they think of themselves as just good honest cooks!). All the vegetarian food is prepared and cooked separately.

The Festival will be supporting Devon Air Ambulance and a stand will be present at the Festival.
