National Air Ambulance Week (NAAW) began in 2012. It gives local air ambulance charities a national voice, and boosts funding.

This year NAAW takes place in the second week in September and there are some fun ways you can support it.

Not all heroes wear capes – certainly not our paramedics as these would present a hazard. But that doesn’t mean you can’t when you choose to support us during National Air Ambulance Week (NAAW).

Dress up to join in

Why not hold your own Be a Hero day? It’s a great way to fundraise, whether you dress up as your favourite superhero or personal hero at your school, college or work .

What to do

Pick your favourite superhero, sports hero or celebrity icon, prepare your costume and channel your hero for the day! All funds you collect from your fans help us to keep your Air Ambulance flying.

There are all sorts of other ways to support Devon Air Ambulance by fundraising. Why not get some inspiration from our Fundraising ideas? Alternatively contact us if you have an idea you’d like to share with us – we'd love to hear from you.
