Volunteer, Tony Cannon (pictured), visited pupils of Mary Tavy School, who held a cream tea earlier this year (22 May, 2018) in memory of the mother of one of the pupils who tragically passed away earlier this year.

Pupils brought their culinary flair to the baking and made their own scones, raising £537.09. Tony went back in July to present a school talk and attend the cheque presentation.

Thank you to the pupils at Mary Tavy for their impressive (and no doubt, much enjoyed!) efforts. What a lovely way to remember someone and help our helicopters too.
