The Pilots
Highly skilled, dedicated and committed, they get the paramedics where they need to be as quickly as possible

The Engineer
Tom Henley is our on-site engineer, who is responsible for day-to-day maintenance of Devon's Air Ambulances.
The Paramedics
Often the first on the scene, the paramedics working with DAA are highly trained with specialist skills and these include the personal touches of care and comfort for patients and their families alike.
- They are provided by the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust
- They are seconded for a period of approximately 2 years to the Air Ambulance
- They undergo extensive training on navigation and safety skills prior to becoming aircrew, with regular refresher courses
